Letter: Valhalla teaches Scouts Tahoe history

To the community,

On May 27 from 6pm to 8pm, some members of our South Lake Tahoe Cub Scout Pack 592 were able to visit the Grand Hall, Boathouse and more out at Valhalla Tahoe.

Our hostess and docent, Carolyn Grubb of Valhalla Tahoem treated us to our own private tour of the area for about 25 children and their families. We played croquet on the Great Lawn and really enjoyed the evening together.

Thank you for your volunteer time and for sharing some of our Tahoe history with our Cub Scouts.

Sincerely,

Leslie Amato, Tiger Cub den leader
