North Tahoe opening seasonal recreation sites

North Tahoe Regional Park’s summer hours are 7am-8pm.

Parking is $5 for non-residents and free for residents with a valid resident sticker.

Annual North Tahoe PUD parks parking discount passes are available to non-residents for $100 per vehicle. They are available at the district offices during normal business hours. These expire on December 31, 2014 and are not pro-rated.

Tahoe Vista Recreation Area and Boat Launch is open seven days a week from 7am-8pm, weather permitting.

Daily boat launch fees (which include parking until the lot is full) for the Tahoe Vista Recreation Area are $15 for North Tahoe Public Utility District residents and $20 for non-residents. Daily vehicle parking fees for Tahoe Vista Recreation Area are $5 for North Tahoe Public Utility District residents, $10 for non-residents and $25 for buses.

Season parking and launch passes are available at the main NTPUD office on National Avenue for $150 for residents and $275 for non-residents. Please note that the District will not be maintaining Coon Street boat launch so these launch passes will not be accepted at that location if it is open.

When no staff is present, the launch will be closed and locked. Fees listed above do not include TRPA fees.
