Hmmm. Freedom Day came LATER? I thought everybody’s taxes were going to go DOWN under Mr. obama’s presidency.
Remember? As long as you make under $250K you won’t pay one more dime? And our medical insurance premiums were going to go down too. . .by an average of $2,500 per family. Uh huh.

Dog. Still whining with no answers ‘eh? Taxes on average under President Obama are the lowest they have been in 50 years. Did you even read the American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012? The Bush Tax Rates did stay the same for people making $400/450k per year. The temporary 2% SS Payroll tax reduction did not survive in the GOP Controlled House. Have you even gone to the Covered California web site to see what health insurance companies are quoting for costs? Well, I did and the saving were/are substantial for similar health care plans and coverage by over $2500 per year. NO PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS!

There is NO real savings if taxpayers are having to subsidize insurance rates. That’s a total FANTASY. Subsidies are paid for by SOMEBODY, even if it ain’t YOU. And if you believe that it’s free, you seriously need an economics class.
Your reference to the payroll tax deduction was also funny math. It AIN’T REAL.
The reason the stock market is doing so well? Quantitative easing. Printing trillions of dollars out of thin air and giving it to the bankers you so love.
Reality is going to slap you upside the head real soon if you think this is all genuine.

@ Rock4-please remind me to put on my tinfoil hat before reading any more of Dog’s posts.

Dog. Prior to ACA we subsidized emergency rooms. The Payroll Tax reduction was 2%, I did not make up the math. Oh, but you do need to believe in math to figure that out.

The United States has a net worth of some $75 Trillion. The US Stock market has a value of some $20 Trillion. All despite your doom and gloom.

R4T, what exactly is your point? Subsidizing emergency rooms wasn’t right before, either. We’re STILL doing it now, ACA or not. It’s STILL wrong.
We STILL have to pay into a ponzi scheme called Social Security. Your employer still pays into it, even if you personally don’t see it coming out of your check. Think how much more your employer could be paying you if he wasn’t sending so much to your government.

And all those trillions are still funny money. Why do I have to keep repeating these same points over and over again? You don’t listen.

Who exactly is wearing the tin-foil hat in this group?

Dogula, so if we are not going to pay for uninsured emergency services as you desire, then the result is people dying on the steps of the hospital; generally based on income.

    You are good with that?

Why don’t you set aside the politics and actually think through how the money should work in your view of utopia.

You statists are SO unimaginative. It’s not a matter of ‘either’ the government takes care of everyone, ‘or’ we will all die/starve/be ill/ etc.
There are SO many other options that are possible without the coercive force of government intervention.
    Dare to free yourselves.
