Glad to hear the Swiss Chalet restaurant building is coming back to life. Who is Debbie Brown? (She may be a famous restauranteur in town, but I don’t know….
Scusa’s seems to be doing very well at the mid-town location.
Irish Wahini, The Swiss Chalet will be going thru a major make over inside and out.I t will be called “Cold Water Brewery”. A brewrey and resturuant run by Debbie Brown, who used to be the GM at Stateline Brewery. I’ve met her just once, she’s very nice and has LOTS of energy. They will be making handcrafted beers, grinding their own grains as well as using local ingredients like pine nuts and other natural nuts and berries from the area. They will also be serving wine from the west slope as well.
I’m looking forward to this new spot that’s located in the center of town and within walking distance, I might add, with an opening date scheduled for the end of summer. I will miss the old Swiss Chalet but it will be nice to see it reopend and still going strong after all these years. Lots of good meals there over the decades! Good Luck, Debbie! OLS
