Corral Trail for all levels of bike riders

Even though Corral Trail has been professionally designed, it’s not all about gnarly mountain bikers.

This video by South Lake Tahoe’s First Track Productions shows how even 4-year-olds ride it. People can roll over all the features or do tricks off them.

TAMBA — Tahoe Area Mountain Biking Association — and the U.S. Forest Service partnered to improve this South Shore trail for all levels of riders. It took hundreds of hours of volunteer time.

Of all the trails in South Lake Tahoe the Corral Trail is my favorite. There are some sandy parts on it that you need to be careful with but other than that, it is challenging, and fun. If you like mountain biking then the Corral Trail is must do ride. And if you can get a ride from the lower parking lot to the top and avoid that brutal uphill, you can do it several times in a row and really have fun!!!!!

Hi Greg, it really is a great trail – and, with all the recent work, it’s not going to have nearly as many sandy sections as it did previously. The new berm line is a lot of fine and extended a lot lower than what you see in the video. Come check it out for the official opening this coming Saturday!
