prosperity logo• John McLaughlin, CFO of Edgewood Companies, and Ken Riley, senior vice president of Kiewit Infrastructure Group, have joined the Tahoe Prosperity Center board.

• Dolph Lundgren will star “The Lake”, a movie being filmed this fall in the Tahoe-Reno area. It’s about freshwater sharks in Lake Tahoe.

    So Kae, what was their point in sharing it with you? I can well imagine what your point likely was in sharing it with us. And I doubt if your point would make “Drone Promotions” happy.

    Am I the only one who liked it? For me, it was a thrill to see places I frequent, but from a bird’s eye view. It didn’t strike me as invasive, since it was filming public places, including people in those public places.

    As one who is subjected to frequent visits from the tour helicopter, a drone at a comparable altitude seems much less invasive and disruptive.

    Don’t get me wrong, though. A drone peering into my windows would be a completely different matter!
