Twenty members and friends of Soroptimist International of Tahoe Sierra recently spent an evening at the Lake Tahoe Paint and Sip Studio at Ski Run Marina.

Each month owners Jill and Frank Slipher provide a unique fundraising experience for a different nonprofit. They donate half of the $40 per person fee back to the designated nonprofit.

Soroptimist International of Tahoe Sierra will use the donation to support local programs and projects for youth and women.

Thank you to the owners and artists who provided a fabulous evening for many of our members while raising money for the women and children in our community. Everyone continues to boast about what you provide. It was generous and brilliant as a business.

Way to go Jill & Frank! This is a great example of how new local businesses can make a positive impact on the community. So happy to have you in South Lake Tahoe.
