Lake Tahoe Society for Storytelling & Enlightenment is a collaboration of Bona Fide Books of Meyers and local artist Jared Manninen.

LTSSE seeks to build community at Lake Tahoe and keep its history alive through inspired storytelling. In 2015, LTSSE will launch its first collection of illustrated Tahoe history books.

A sampler will be available this month at the Valhalla Holiday Faire  (Nov. 21-23), and at the Zawadisha Holiday Bazaar (Nov. 29).

    Hi!
I have some famy pics from the early ’20s of Tahoe. Includes the steam loco that ran to Tahoe city and pics of Lady, Cave Rock taken frm one of old steamers on the lake… Do you think they might be interested in these? If so, how might I contact them?
    Thanks!

Cher, I’d love to see your photos. We plan to write about trains and Cave Rock, and they would be neat to see. You can call or e-mail me at editor@bonafidebooks.com.

OLS, thanks for giving Cher our info. I’ll be in touch!

    Thanks to both of you!
I was at an outdoor event a year or so ago ( Taylor creek) and saw a published book from the 20s ( don’t knw who did it) and felt disappointed that I’d missed the chance for them to see the pics.
Also went to maritime museum at Homewood but no one there too interested tht particular day. :)
Ill be emailing for you for sure!
    Thks! Cher
