Douglas County father suspected of child abuse
A Douglas County man accused of abusing his 2-month-old child is wanted by sheriff’s deputies.
Deputies were summoned to Carson Valley Medical Center the afternoon of Jan. 7 because the father, 23-year-old Trent Getty, brought his unresponsive infant there.

“Investigators developed information that the infant had suffered substantial injuries which appear to be the result of traumatic abuse and are inconsistent with the initial statement given by the father regarding how the injury occurred,” deputies said in a press release.
The condition of the child has not been disclosed.
A $1 million warrant has been issued for Getty’s arrest.
He is 6-feet-1-inch, 170 pounds, short-cropped red hair, green eyes, and has numerous facial tattoos.

This guy clearly missed an important body modification about a year ago. He might be a great guy, but I’m betting he has acquaintances that would have done the modification for him – for free.
He drops the child off.

They asked him a few questions and let him waltz out the door?
Sliced–nurses and Drs. don’t have arrest powers. Their concern was the health of the child.
In any case this genius won’t get far, hopefully he’ll save everyone the trouble of a trial and imprisonment and end it before the cops find him.
Every citizen has arrest powers. Citizen’s Arrest. But yes, their focus would have been on the dirt bags innocent child.
That’s great…you all complain when the cops do arrest someone and say that they “jumped to conclusions” or “I know that guy, there is no way he did it”, and then turn around and complain when they don’t arrest someone before finishing their investigation.
By the way, I sure hope he didn’t actually pay for those tattoos.

My concern is for the child. This may sound ‘nanny-stateish(what??who me?) but why do people who abuse children get to have more children?
This animal does get the Darwin award for reverse evolution and not having evolved from primate into human status. This is a great look for the next prison fashion show though for his new cell BFF.
