2 South Lake Tahoe men randomly attacked

Three men are wanted in connection with an assault on two South Lake Tahoe men on Wednesday night.

The victims were just outside the Bottle Shop on Lake Tahoe Boulevard on Feb. 25 when they told police they were rushed in an unprovoked attack. One of the victims, a 36-year-old man, sustained significant head injuries, including lacerations to his face after having been beaten by the three suspects with fists. He was transported to Renown Medical Center in Reno.

“The victim is doing well at this time,” officers said in a press release.

The description of the three attackers is limited because of the second 50-year-old uninjured victim’s state of intoxication at the time of the investigation, police said. The suspects may be European; they were described as white males 6-feet-2-inches, the third spoke Italian. They had black hair, one was wearing a white jacket, and another was wearing a blue jacket.

Anyone who has information is asked to call police at 530.542.6110 or South Lake Tahoe Secret Witness at 530.541.6800.

It alarms me that Barton could not help this man. They seek out all these worthless accolades and the result is the same, Barton Clearing House.

What happened to their Trauma Center

  3. Louis says - Posted: February 27, 2015

Trauma centers do just that, take care of trauma. If the man who was cut in the face was stabilized doctors have to start thinking of recovery. A trauma center doesn’t have to have a plastic surgeon on call, and at that point for the man’s recovery he would most likely need a facial reconstruction specialist, for example if there were broken bones and lacerations beyond the ability of stitches / glue to repair with minimal scaring or disfigurement.

So it makes sense to send him to specialists who aren’t available locally once the urgent issues are taken care of.

Hopefully karma gets these “foreigners”. I hear crossing hwy 50 by stateline can be dangerous. People get run over and dragged.

So the suspects are foreigners from somewhere who speak some language other than English and are randomly attacking people in the streets? Time for the SLT PD to get busy and every business owner should be warned to watch out for this gang. Is it a Gang initiation? Or? Training for violence against others on a larger scale? Can’t happen right? Wrong!

“The description of the three attackers is limited because of the second 50-year-old uninjured victim’s state of intoxication at the time of the investigation, police said.”

Sounds to me like it may be remotely possible that there is more to this story that maybe the police couldn’t discern from the “intoxicated” victim. Even the minuscule possibility that it wasn’t unprovoked. And I stress remotely possible.

But Justice, we know for sure you’ll be locked in your abode, shaking with guns drawn, waiting to avenge the two victims! God forbid the UPS man shows up sporting a “non-American” accent!

Not to be a broken record but good old ethyl alcohol was involved. The report may have other pertinent info regarding this unprovoked (?) attack. Don’t rush to judgment either way.

I feel very very bad for anyone that is injured for any reason and have to undergo serious medical procedures but I would have to agree with Bigger Picture!!
The intoxicated man told the story of being attacked with out provocazione and he was lucid enough to figure out that they were European, six ft two tall and spoke Italian….very interesting. Any Italian at 6-2″ would be playing for the NBA :):)
Then the comment by Justice about potentially being a gang….I guess wearing a white jacket and a blue jacket could describe the “Rat Pack” guys….that’s it…mystery solved !!
