Mr. and Mrs. Gaines should stop making a career of state government and get private sector jobs. Recall that when Mr. Gaines ran for the Senate he also ran for reelection to his Assembly seat, though he was the odds-on favorite to win both. After he won both, he resigned from the Assembly, forcing the taxpayers to spend hundreds of thousand dollars for a special election. But it was worth it to the Gaines’. Mr. Gaines gave his extra campaign funds to his wife, which froze out competitors and paved the way for the Gaines family to continue collecting that paycheck.
Mr. and Mrs. Gaines give conservatives a bad name. Get real jobs, please, and quit gaming elections for your own benefit.
City Resident, I can assume you are in favor of term limits for all politicians. Any politician that has been in office more than twelve years needs to go. The reason our government doesn’t work is because of career politicians.
