Letter: TACCD expresses appreciation

To the community,

As chairperson of the Tahoe Area Coordinating Council for the Disabled (TACCD), I would like to take a moment to thank all of the people who attended our meeting last month at the Department of Rehabilitation.

The meeting was excellent and it was gratifying to see all of you who took time out from your busy schedules to attend and contribute. I feel grateful to be able to collaborate with each of you and to see that our work to improve the quality of life for our community’s seniors and the those with disabilities continues. In my opinion, the group that attends TACCD meetings is an exceptional one, made up of dedicated professionals and caring parent advocates.
