Finding a second life for electronic gadgets

There’s one obvious downside to our fascination with gadgets: obsolescence.

Just when we start to get used to our new purchase – be it a smartphone, tablet, laptop or television – it seems there’s a better one around the corner. To make matters worse, you might find the newer and shinier tech toy costs even less than the one you bought.

Still, many of us can’t resist an upgrade. Instead of ditching your older products, however, consider handing it down to someone (or an organization) that will appreciate it. Or maybe sell it. Or trade it in.

    The tech device companies are eons ahead of the purchase tech gadget game. They simply make the device a little more sleeker, few more bells and whistles, then dangle it in front of you for a few bucks less then last years model.
    This is how they stay in business, oh, but all built in China mind you, got to keep that labor cost down now, also causes realibilty issues going down this road. Part of the game, your device gets glitchy or dies on you, so you have to get a new one anyhow, very clever.
