Activists seek to repeal entire Nev. tax package

CARSON CITY — Conservative activists have filed a petition seeking to repeal the entire $1.1 billion tax package that Nevada lawmakers passed this spring.
Anti-tax activist Chuck Muth said he filed paperwork with the Secretary of State’s Office on Monday seeking the ballot measure. The petition includes the names of more than 800 people.
Where do I sign? We voted down a nearly identical tax just in November. By a wide margin. Then the governor bullied the legislature into passing a slightly different version of the same thing just a few months later? How is that even remotely Kosher?
