To the community,

The Zephyr Cove Tennis Club Foundation thanks the multitude of individuals and businesses that contributed to making the 32nd annual Tahoe Tennis Classic such a success.

The foundation is the nonprofit entity responsible for the upkeep of the six courts at Zephyr Cove Park. It takes time and money to keep this valuable asset in pristine condition. The foundation’s main fundraiser is during the players’ dinner of the tournament. This year items were donated for the silent auction and raffle with a value of more than $10,000.

zctcThe all-volunteer foundation uses the proceeds to improve the courts – including repairing the playing surface. That will be the next big expenditure. Like all facilities, though, there are always maintenance issues that go beyond substantive changes.

A special thank you goes out to Harrah’s Lake Tahoe for welcoming the nearly 200 people to the August dinner.
