· The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Records and Civil Sections will be opening its doors one half hour earlier starting Sept. 8. Doors will open at 7:30am on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
· Tickets for the Polar Express train ride via the Virginia & Truckee Railroad go on sale online beginning Aug. 20. Rides begin Nov. 19.
