August was not a good month for casinos at Lake Tahoe, with both ends of the lake posting double-digit decreases compared to 2014.

Stateline casinos were down 33.55 percent from 2014, according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board. North Shore casino revenues were down 15.68 percent year-over-year.

Statewide the casinos collected $908.2 from gamblers in August, a decline of almost 1.4 percent.
