·       Fire Fest is Sept. 26 from 10am-3pm at Lake Tahoe Airport. The free event highlights fire and life safety for children and families.

·       Tahoe Citizens’ Committee is hosting the Douglas County Sewer Improvement District Sept. 29 at 5pm. District personnel will give a presentation about the new plan to keep future sewer rates down. The meeting will be at 169 Highway 50, Stateline.
