·       Truckee is having a free paint drop day on Oct. 17 from 9am-1pm at the airport.

·       Barton Health’s smoking cessation class start date has changed to Oct. 14 and will end a week later. It is from 5-6:30pm at 1111 Emerald Bay Road, South Lake Tahoe. Cost is $30.

·      El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office is encouraging people to register for emergency notifications online. The CodeRED notification system will only be used by public safety officials during emergencies to disseminate critical information to the citizens of El Dorado County.
