Congrats Don Lane. What a nice honor!
What a well-deserved honor. Don has served with loyalty, perspective, humor and kindness for decades. How many of you remember his Tales of Tahoe which he has told for years at community gatherings, on the radio and in books? A lot of strange stuff goes on in Desolation wilderness and Don can always pull a story out of his hat that will surprise you if not downright amaze you. He is a great attribute not only to the Forest Service but to the community. Thank you Don for being a Tahoe original!
Couldn’t agree more. . .Don’s been known to credit me for knowing some of Tahoe’s history, but we all know better. . .
Congrats, Don !! . . .
