The mobile home fire that ended with the death of a Stateline woman on Nov. 13 started in the kitchen, according to investigators.

The Ponderosa Avenue fire has been ruled an accident. The origin was the stove-range, Tahoe Douglas Fire Marshal Eric Guevin told Lake Tahoe News.

The name of the woman who died has not been released. Firefighters pulled her from the burning structure, tried to resuscitate her, but she died at the scene.
