Stateline casinos were in sync October with state gaming numbers – both losers compared to the previous year.
Local revenue was down 3 percent compared to 2014.
Nevada casinos brought in more than $887.5 million, which was down 2.85 percent from a year ago.

Unfortunate that since the Hard Rock opened, the gaming numbers have not increased at Stateline. I think only one month since its opening have the Stateline numbers been up significantly. The other months have been either neutral or down. In other words, the Hard Rock is just cutting the pie into smaller pieces.
But yet, both Montbleu & Harrah’s seem now to want imitate the Hard Rock by joining the contest of who can have the biggest & ‘loudest’ sign. You can make the case the new electronic signs are nicer. Still worth noting that the casinos apparently have no problem getting those signs approved by the TRPA?
