·       The Landing Resort in South Lake Tahoe has been named by Outside magazine as one of the best new hotels in ski country.

·      There will be a statewide marrow drive for California Highway Patrolman Keith Meter on March 12 from 10am-3pm. On the South Shore it will be at the Meyers office on Hopi Avenue.
