Kit Carson topic of talk in Genoa

Everything in this area seems to be named after Christopher “Kit” Carson, from Carson City and the Carson River, to the Carson Pass and Carson Valley. Join a park ranger at Mormon Station State Historic Park to find out why.

The life and adventures of this frontier legend who left a lasting mark on Northern Nevada will be revealed.

This event is free and all ages are welcome.

It is April 9 at 6pm inside the wagon shed at Mormon Station State Historic Park, 2307 Main St., Genoa.
