STHS student accused of bringing knife to school

A South Tahoe High School senior was arrested March 25 on felony charges of possession of a knife at school.

Lakota Wright, 18, posted the $10,000 bail.

El Dorado County probation officers, who regularly are at the campus, questioned Wright and that is when the knife was discovered. The police report is not finalized so the type of knife is not known. There is no indication students were threatened.

The no weapons policy would include a Swiss army style knife.
