Sigh… remember when we had this sort of thing at our airport? We had a wonderful air show for over 20 years, with attendance averaging around 10,000 people every year. Events for local kids, families and tourists. It created interest in aviation as a career. There are thousands of pilots needed in the near future and not near enough Americans to fill the need. Encouraging participation is extremely important to our future, the country’s future and our economy. But at least we have some piles of dirt for bicycles to play on instead.
