Body found in road near Truckee

A woman’s body was found Monday morning near Interstate 80 in the Truckee area.

Nevada County sheriff’s detectives are treating the death as suspicious because of the trauma to her body.

The body was found April 4 about 6:20am under the interstate overpass at Farad.
