Bill Morgan, author of “Morgan’s Tale”, will be giving a talk April 19 at 7pm at Camp Richardson.

Morgan worked for the U.S. Forest Service as a civil engineer for 16 years before transferring to the Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit where he served as the Forest Service supervisor for nine years. In 1985, after retiring from the Forest Service, he became the executive director of the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency.

Morgan will share the stories behind the disasters, decisions, and controversies of these agencies in the 1970s and 1980s.

His book is available at the Lake Tahoe Historical Society’s Museum Bookstore and will be at the event.

The talk is free for historical society members, $3 for others.
