Report: Nev. worst for ‘real unemployment’
By Mark Robison, Reno Gazette-Journal
Nevada ranks No. 1 in the United States for “labor underutilization” in 2015, with 13.9 percent of the population unemployed, underemployed or who wants to work but have given up.
Some call it the “real unemployment rate.”
That compares with an overall “U-6” unemployment rate last year in the United States of 10.4 percent, according to data released March 31 by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
