El Dorado County’s largest irrigation district is telling its customers the effects of the drought have subsided so much that they can stop conserving water.
The El Dorado Irrigation District, which has approximately 40,000 customers, voted to rescind all water restrictions Monday.
“Now that the drought stage has been rescinded, currently our customers no longer need to conserve,” district spokesman Jesse Saich said.
