Two Reno teenagers died Friday when the vehicle they were in crashed near Northstar.

Gregoria Martinez-Reyes, 15, died at the scene. Miguel Ramos-Carillo, 16, succumbed to his injuries that night at Renown Medical Center in Reno.

Two other passengers, both 16 and from Reno, were taken to Renown with major injuries. Their names have not been released.

Martinez-Reyes was on Highway 267 near Northstar Drive when the Jeep Grand Cherokee he was driving left the roadway, and then flipped several times, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Officers said alcohol and drugs are not likely factors in the June 3, 8:30pm accident, though speed could be. All four were wearing seat belts.
