Expect traffic delays on Highway 50 on the Nevada side during the June 18 Rock Tahoe Half Marathon.

The lakeside lane of westbound Highway 50 will be closed from  the top of Spooner Summit to the bike trail at Round Hill Pines. Traffic
through Cave Rock will be intermittently stopped, allowing one-way traffic through the tunnel.

The lane closure will be in effect from 6-11am, with significant delays at Cave Rock 8-9:30am.

Kingsbury Grade is highly recommended as the preferred route.

Additionally, access into or out of the peripheral streets and driveways may be prolonged at times.

This second annual race has 2,000 runners-walkers going from Spooner Summit to the Hard Rock. Start time is 7am.
