3-night movie festival at Homewood

The Triple Threat Adventure Film Festival will be at Homewood Mountain Resort Sept. 30-Oct. 2.

The festival will include three nights of films featuring rock, dirt and snow.

All movies to be shown at Homewood’s North Lodge on a 27-foot outdoor air screen.

Reel Rock Film Tour 11 will kick off the weekend showcasing rock climbing features and shorts that encompass some of the sport’s biggest stories, athletes, worldly explorations, first ascents and more.

Featured films move to the dirt on Saturday with mountain bike movies by Anthill Films, including “Strength in Numbers,” “NotBad,” and this year’s “Not2Bad.”

Sunday evening will start with a showing Level 1’s new film “Pleasure.” Shot on location around the world, Level 1’s film encompasses joys that are found in skiing and features pros such as Will Wesson, Sami Ortieb, Tanner Rainville, Wiley Miller and more.

The festival will wrap up with a complimentary screening (no ticket required) of the new Travis Rice/Red Bull film “The Fourth Phase.”

Film Festival tickets are available in advance for $20, $25 at the door, with kids’ tickets $10 in advance, $15 at the door. Tickets provide access to all three nights. Access to the outdoor theater begins at 6:30pm, with movies scheduled to begin at 7pm. Chairs will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis; guests are encouraged to bring their own low back chairs as well.
