Suspicious fire in SLT quickly extinguished
Firefighters responded to another suspicious fire on Monday night.
It started near the South Lake Tahoe fire station at Pioneer Trail and Ski Run Boulevard. About 100-square-feet of land burned.
The fire on Sept. 19 was reported about 11:10pm.
“The fire was put out quickly and the cause is under investigation,” Lisa Herron, U.S. Forest Service spokeswoman, told Lake Tahoe News. She added that she didn’t know if this fire is related to the rash of fires that have occurred on the South Shore in the last month.
