2 Incline residents vie for state higher ed board

Carol Del Carlo and Sara LaFrance are vying for the District 9 spot on the Nevada System of Higher Education Board of Regents.
The Incline Village women both want the post that is part of 13-person board that oversees the state’s public colleges including URN and Truckee Meadows Community College.
Del Carlo, 64, and LaFrance, 72, both have strong ties to Nevada and are graduates of UNR before continuing their educations out of state.
