Lake Tahoe casinos helped the state post a revenue gain for September.

The Nevada Gaming Commission today released its figures showing the state took in nearly $948.49 million, which is a 3.55 percent gain from September 2015.

On the South Shore the win was 2.27 percent higher than the previous year at $21.7 million. The North Shore casinos did even better with a 6.37 percent year-over-year increase.
