Christine Vuletich

·       Christine Vuletich, Douglas County assistant county manager and former finance director for South Lake Tahoe, has been hired to be assistant county manager for Washoe County.

·       The South Lake Tahoe pool will be closed today through Oct. 9 while the dome is put back on.

·       Ryan Sommers is the permanent North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District fire chief. He was appointed interim chief in February after Michael Brown retired. Sommers has been with the NLTFPD since 1991 when he began as a seasonal volunteer firefighter.

·       Vail Resorts is spending $100 million this season across all of its properties. New for the three Tahoe resorts is EpicMix Time, which allows guests to access real-time lift line wait times.
