Chris Proctor of Barton Health on Jan. 25 will talk about how the Robert Maloff Center of Excellence is changing the face of healthcare locally by moving from a reactive healthcare model based on treating illness/injury, to a proactive model using prevention and education.

The Robert Maloff Center of Excellence will house orthopedics, rehabilitation, sports performance and wellness programs designed to address all stages in the care continuum, enhancing health and wellness within our community.

It is expected to open in the fall.

The free talk starts at 6pm in the board room at Lake Tahoe Community College.
