·      Tahoe Rim Trail Association will begin accepting applications on Jan. 25 for two through hikes of the Tahoe Rim Trail. These are 15-day, 165-mile, guided and supported backpack trips. Dates are July 22-Aug. 5 and Aug. 26-Sept. 9. Cost is $1,745. Register online
