A winter storm warning remains in effect until Monday at 4am for the Tahoe-Truckee area. Several feet of snow are expected at the lake and even more at higher elevations. Weather will impact ski resorts. Be sure to check what is open before going out. The Sierra Avalanche Center says the danger level for Friday is considerable.
