Tahoe Tails — Adoptable Pets in South Lake Tahoe
Nellie is a 10-month-old Jack Russell terrier/Queensland Heeler mix who weighs about 25 pounds. As is typical of these breeds, she is very energetic and smart and will do best in a home where she will get lots of exercise and training.
She is a little scared of new men and needs a home without small children. She is a puppy and is still in the “let’s try out these teeth” stage. Nellie is a nice girl who has been in the shelter for three weeks. We would love to get her into her new home soon.
Nellie is spayed, microchipped, tested for heart worm, and vaccinated. She is at the El Dorado County Animal Services shelter in Meyers, along with many other dogs and cats who are waiting for their new homes. Go to the Tahoe animal shelter’s Facebook page to see photos and descriptions of all pets at the shelter.
