A gas line exploded at a house in Kirkwood this morning.

No one was home at the time and there were no injuries.

It occurred March 25 near Fremont and Merrill streets.

No one from Kirkwood Fire Department was available for comment so the extent of damage is not known nor if snowload was the cause.

Smoke could be seen from quite a ways away.
