To celebrate the season of Lent and Easter in a unique way, St. Theresa’s Catholic Church is presenting a production of the play “People of the Passion,” written by Mary Betten and directed by Susan Boulanger.

The free performance will be on April 14 at 6pm in the church, 1041 Lyons Ave., South Lake Tahoe.

“People of the Passion” presents the stories of a variety of gospel characters who witnessed or participated in the crucifixion of Jesus, and were forever changed by that experience. Through their personal stories the audience becomes witnesses to the Passion of Jesus in a personal way.

The St. Theresa’s Children’s Choir, under the direction of Maureen Leonard, will be performing musical interludes.

Members of the cast include Ryan Adams, Frank Dixon, Tessa Dixon, Maddy Evans, Sharon Kerrigan, Thomas Lopez, Alia Enriquez, Joanie San Agustin, and Elliott Smart.
