Civil Air Patrol crews are helping with the search for an aircraft reported missing after it took off from Truckee on Monday, according to a CAP spokesperson.
Lt. Col. Crystal Housman, mission information officer for California Civil Air Patrol, said a Socata TB-20 Trinidad left the Truckee-Tahoe Airport just before 4pm April 17.
Two people were on board, and family members reported the plane was overdue when it did not arrive as scheduled at Petaluma Municipal Airport in Sonoma County.
