Valhalla will host Will’s Kids for the second year on Aug. 4 from 11am-5pm.

This is a free and family-friendly event.

Participants will be able to enjoy a variety of arts and watch a children’s version of this year’s Shakespeare on the Lake production of “Love’s Labours Lost,” put on by the Young Shakespeare Program. The event begins at 11am with food trucks available for lunch and snacks. The play will begin at noon on the lawn between the boathouse and Valhalla.

After the play, at 1pm, the art fair will begin, allowing children of all ages to join in. There will be face painting, live art, crafts, hula hooping, a silent art auction and more! Workshops by various organizations and groups will also be available throughout the day.

Will’s Kids is appropriate for all ages and free to attend.

Will’s Kids is a collaboration between Live Violence Free, Tahoe Youth & Family Services, Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe, the D.G. Manchetti Young Shakespeare Program, and Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival to bring art to the children of our community.
