·      Juvenile Service Council is hosting its fourth annual charity golf event on Aug. 28 at the Cold Springs Golf in Placerville. JSC provides funding and volunteer resources in South Lake Tahoe and in Placerville.

·      Rad Moon Rising, a tribute to Credence Clearwater Revival, will put on a free concert at Minden Park on Aug. 25, 6-8pm.
