·      TedX South Lake Tahoe is Sept. 29 at 5:30pm at Lake Tahoe Community College’s Duke Theater. Doors open at 3:30pm. The $55 tickets are available online.

·      Two-time magician of the year Jonathan Neil will be at The Loft in South Lake Tahoe from Sept. 7-19.

·      Mike Reid has been hired to be vice president of Finance and Administration at Sierra Nevada College in Incline Village.

·      Lake Tahoe will be featured in “Fire Chasers,” a Netflix original docudrama coming out in September.

·      Turtle Park will be playing a benefit concert Aug. 26 for the South Tahoe Cancer League. Doors at the American Legion Hall in South Lake Tahoe open at 9pm, with show from 10pm-midnight. Cost is $10.
