Golf event benefits Truckee Humane Society

The Humane Society of Truckee Tahoe will host its second annual Balls in the Ruff Golf Tournament on Sept. 8.

The scramble-style tournament begins at noon at the Tahoe Donner Golf Course. It will include pet themed contests throughout the event.

Entry is $150, including 18 holes of golf with cart, box lunch, a golfer goody bag and an awards dinner.
