·      The South Lake Tahoe iHop and Applebee’s locations are not on the list to close. The local pancake house is slated to reopen this weekend after undergoing a remodel.

·      Lakeside Inn in Stateline is hosting an NFL kickoff party outside on Sept. 9 from 5-9pm. Music will be by Drought Relief. There will be food and beverage options, corn hole, and a raffle for ski equipment.

·       Here are the El Dorado-Tahoe and Sierra roadwork schedules for the coming week from Caltrans.

·       “Broadway at the Park” returns to Truckee Regional Park Amphitheater on Aug. 19 at 7pm. The concert will feature live musicians and a chorus. Bring a picnic, low lawn chairs, a blanket and some wine, or purchase crepes and wine, beer, coffee and hot chocolate from the bar. Go online for tickets.
