The Tahoe Donner Giving Fund will host its third annual dinner and silent auction on Oct. 14 at 6pm at the Alder Creek Adventure Center.

Proceeds from the event funds grants supporting local nonprofits in the greater Truckee area, and scholarships to local high school graduates.   

Stay Caldwell, CEO of the Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation, will present the evening’s dinner topic — Beyond Philanthropy, Making an Impact in our Community.

The cost to attend the dinner is $100 per person, which includes a hospitality mixer, dinner and dessert. Tickets can be purchased online. To reserve a table, write to tahoedonnercares@gmail.com.  

The Tahoe Donner Giving Fund was created in 2014 to pool contributions from association members to support the work of local nonprofits and provide academic and vocational scholarships to graduates of need.
